GLITTERS are available in a large selection of primary colors, fluorescent, crystalline and holographic shades. They can be purchased as dry flakes by the pound (lb) or as a pre-mixed ink ready for screen printing.

STARMIST Glitters are made from an optimum blend of American & Japanese materials & technologies. STARMIST Glitters are precisely cut in hexagonal and square shapes in a uniform size to produce the most eye catching colors, shades and decorative effects.

Glitter flakes can be mixed into Plastisol, Water base and many Solvent-based inks to be used in Textile printing on Silk, Cotton, Polyester and Poly blends. In Graphic applications such as Signs, Posters, Vinyl Decals and Promotional products. STARMIST GLITTERS enhances with brilliance and adds shine, reflection and glamor to your t-shirt designs. Products that incorporate GLITTERS simply jump off the shelves.

Squeegee Pressure/Speed: Hard & Slow - Curing Temp: 320F (Plastisol)

Recommended sizes for hand apply: .015 Hex (Large)
ADHESIVES & CLEARS
We offer a variety of CLEAR BASES to incorporate Glitter Flakes in both our Plastisol and Waterbase ink lines. If you want to mix your own line of glitter colors call us today and we'll help you select the best choice for your application.
If your production requires hand applied effect the use of an Adhesive is necessary. Print the adhesive in the shape of your design and apply the Glitter while the ink film still wet, Flash and run thru conveyor dryer at normal plastisol settings: 320F curing temperature.

Waterbase Discharge Inks
Implementing Discharge inks allow customers to get waterbase inks printed on dark 100% cotton fabrics with a softer feel that only waterbase can give you. Waterbase Discharge is available with in a Clear Base and a large selection of colors. Review the technical sheet for mesh and curing specifications.
Shimmer & Metallic Inks
Shimmers are bright metallic inks with excellent wash resistance, printable thru 86ct - 110ct mesh. Available in Silver and Gold and many other bright colors. Review the technical sheets for additional information and printing specifications.
Hi Density Clear Gel
Implementing Hi-Density Clear Gel on to aspects of your designs is a sure way to make it stand out. Use HD Gel as a Foil Adhesive or as a glitter carrier using hand applied flakes. Review the technical sheets for additional information and printing specifications.

Photo-Chromatic Plastisol Inks

Photo-Chromatic Plastisol
Photo-Chromatic Textile Screen Inks are Plastisol inks that appear when exposed to the sun or UV Black lights, they return to colorless again as return to the shade. These inks are available in various colors. The color change is "reversible," i.e., the color will fade again upon removal from UV exposure. Photo-chromatic textile screen inks are ideal for T-shirts and other apparel, promotional items, etc. See Color Availability Chart for a complete list of available colors.
INK PROPERTIES:
Density (Approx.) 9.0 lb./gal, Appearance Off-White Paste, Percent Solids (Approx.) 100%
Recommended Substrates: Textiles only, 100% Cotton
STORAGE AND HANDLING
Photo-chromatic Inks should be stored in a cool, dry place and away from sources of UV light. The inks are stable when stored away from heat. The material is combustible and should not be used near open flame. Store Below 80 F. Product must be used within twelve months of purchase. Consult MSDS prior to use.
SPECIAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Photo-chromatic textile screen Plastisol ink changes color with changes in light intensity. They print and cure as easily as other Plastisol inks. They will not dry in your screen and do not contain solvents. They may be printed on 100% cotton synthetic/cotton blends. Inks should be printed on white or light colors. The following suggestions should be kept in mind when running the ink.
Recommended screen mesh: 130-200 mesh count with 150 preferred.
Curing: 310-320 F (155-160 C) for 30 - 90 seconds. (Inks should not be over-cured)
PRINTING ON DARK COLORED TEXTILES
It is possible to print Photo-chromatic inks on textiles other than white. Contact us to obtain a discharge ink prior to printing the Photo-chromatic ink. This will remove the dye from the textile and provide a suitable substrate for the Photo-chromatic ink to easily bond. Photo-Chromatic inks are not recommended on Dark fabrics.
