Discharge printing is a waterbased process used to remove the dyes
from the garment. This process allows the color to be printed on
to a dark substrate with out the use of a under base white.
- WTD010 Discharge ZF Binder
- WTDZFS Discharge ZF Activator (Powder)
- WTD000 Discharge ZF Premix White
* Other colors can be prepared by mixing waterbase Pigment Concentrates
to the Binder.
Florida Flex's Water-Based Discharge System offers four distinct discharge systems, two formaldehyde-based & one non-formaldehyde discharge systems for use on 100% cotton dischargeable fabrics with reactive dyes, plus a discharge system for indigo/denim dyed fabrics.
Binder
801 / Printgen 801
Discharge system for indigo denim fabrics and can be used with
or without pigments.
NEW! DSPS Discharge Binder
Discharge System for reactive dyes. DSPS contains formaldehyde in the discharge agent. This is an excellent, highly pigmented discharge system. Provides a softer hand than our popular DSM-2 Discharge Base and also Wilflex Oasis ZF and NF Discharge Bases.
Wilflex Oasis Discharge system provides a Non-formaldehyde
(NF) base & component series:
- Oasis Discharge NF Base
- Oasis Discharge NF Super White
- Oasis NF Activator (Powder)
Keep in mind that NOT all garments are dischargeable; please
contact our technical dept. for additional information. Water
resistant Emulsion and Block out is required for this production.
The Burn-OUT system is a process where the cotton fibers are removed
from Polyester/Cotton garments, thus leaving the Polyester fibers
and creating a see-thru like effect. Printgen OP 30 PS is a burnout
product for cotton/poly blend fabrics.
This is a 3 part system that requires all parts to be mixed prior
to use and once the garment is printed, cured and washed the full
effect desired can be seen. It is important that you pre-test
your garment prior to production, contact our Technical dept.
for additional information.
Water resistant Emulsion and Block out is required for
this production.
Whether you are printing on Towels or T-shirts, waterbase inks
offer you a softer hand feel by penetrating deep with the fabric.
Opaque colors are available for darker substrates.
If you are printing with waterbase inks for the first time, please
contact our technical dept. for assistance on screen preparation
and other requirements.
Water resistant Emulsion and Block out is required for
this production.

9 Extender Base Formulas:
301 C Clear base - A clear binder base for use on white and light colored fabrics. Can be printed through a high mesh count screen up to 305 which will produce an ultra soft hand. Mix 5-10% pigment to binder by weight.
301M Matte base - A semi opaque matte white binder base for use on colored fabrics. Can be printed through a high mesh count screen up to 305. Mix 5-10% pigment to binder by weight.
301W base - A high opaque white base for use on dark or colored fabrics. Can be used as an under-base, high opaque spot white ink or mixed with pigment (5-10% pigment to base by weight) Mesh counts up to 305.

301 Top Clear - A platform base for printing on top of a white under-base on dark fabrics. Provides better adhesion of top colors to white base. Screen mesh recommendations up to 250.
301 Top White - A high opaque white ink for use over under-base to increase opacity. Also provides better adhesion and printability for top colors to under-base. Screen mesh recommendations up to 250.
301 Stretch Clear base - A base binder formulated for use on stretch fabrics such as Lycra-Spandex, athletic clothing etc. Add any of the Matsui 301 Eco-Series pigments for unlimited color matching capabilities. Screen mesh recommendations up to 150.

a water based pigment and is usually printed onto white cotton
or cotton/poly blend fabric.
Extender 4T is an opaque, ready to use printing
ink. Like with the Extender 3T, the Extender 4T can be mixed with
a water based pigment, but it is printed onto dark or colored
fabrics.
Supper Rubber White is a ready to use elastic,
printing base. This binder allows the printing image to be stretched
with minimal cracking.

White 0116 is a ready to use opaque printing base for
dark colored fabrics, but provides a much softer hand.
Metallic Binder GT-50 is ready to use printing
base that is used with metallic glitter.
Puff Clear Base HT-L and Puff Clear Base LT-S
are ready to use heat sensitive clear bases that provide for three-dimensional
designs and can be printed on to dark or light cotton or poly/cotton
belends. The HT-L is cured at a temperature of 320°F and the
LT-S is for cured at a lower temperature of 280°F.
Puff
White HT-L and Puff White LT-2 are ready to use heat
sensitive white bases that provide for three-dimensional designs
and can be printing on to dark or light cotton or poly/cotton
blends. The HT-L is cured at a temperature of 320°F and the
LT-2 is cured at a lower temperature of 280°F.
Crack Binder 812 is a matte white binder that
produces a crackling effect on cotton or cotton/polyester knit
or woven fabrics.
Fixer
F Conc is is an additive added to bases and inks to improve
wash fastness. Only 2-3% is added in to the mixture.
