Simply the best clear Inkjet Film on the market! Very smooth on
both sides. Contains anti-curl coating and works with off-the-shelf
dye-based Epson inks. If you are working with Pigment-based Epson
Ink, then your best choice is Waterproof coated Inkjet Film.
Both Pigment and Dyed based Non-Waterproof Films produce very dense
black images. Don’t trust your positives to other inferior
Inkjet Films in the market, you’ll waste time trying to burn
and print correctly. For the best edge definition and dense blacks
without pinholes, use the film with the best quality trust Ulano
Inkjet films,
Rolls vs. Cut Sheets
Many customers assume the economy is to buy film by the roll. The
problem is that small format inkjet printers like the Epson 3000,
2200 & 1520 DO NOT print in register when feeding off a roll.
If you want perfect registration, purchase the film in cut sheets.
* Because of the upgraded feeding mechanism in the Epson 4800, 7600
& 9600 series registration is perfect using the rolls.
YES, If you want DENSE black images and halftone dots, you need
a RIP like FastRIP. It tells the Inkjet printer how many passes
to make when printing black. This way the printer lays down a much
denser ink deposit. The magic of getting dense black images is not
entirely in the film, FastRIP makes it all come together.

PowerRIP ScreenPrint is a PostScript Level 3 compatible RIP for creating digital halftone film positive output, and color proofs on supported EPSON inkjet printers with piezo print heads. PowerRIP rasterizes Postscript data from graphic programs, such as CorelDraw, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Freehand and Quark. PowerRIP controls screen angles, screen frequency and dot shape, as well as precise density control. PowerRIP and standard photo Epson inks achieve 3.0+ UV density.
PowerRIP ScreenPrint Ulano Edition installs like any printer driver. Once the initial prefences are set, you select PowerRIP as your output device, just like any other printer driver.

I have Apple and Windows computers and several printers, how many copies do I need to purchase?
One! PowerRIP is network ready. You can connect your computer via Ethernet and print out to any supported network printer. Before you start to install, decide which computer will serve the others, and install it there.
Does Ulano PowerRIP run on printers connected by network (even on the trial version)?
Yes, all of the PowerRIP products work in a network environment. PowerRIP can be stand alone, or RIP servers simultaneously. The inkjet printer must be shared over the network, as a network printer and connected users must be registered and have rights. This is the basic way it works for Windows and Apple networking. PowerRIP does not assign the rights. The operating systems (Windows or Apple), allows remote users to print to local printers.
What is PostScript and why do I need a PostScript RIP?
PostScript is a programming language optimized for printing graphics and text. A PostScript RIP (Raster Image Processor) converts the output from your application into an image allowing you to utilize a non PostScript printer for high quality color and sharp, legible type.
Is PowerRIP user friendly?
Yes it is. iProof designed the options so they are intuitive. If you do not have time to read the manual, you can still use PowerRIP.
What is your return policy for software?
We offer a FREE download of PowerRIP ScreenPrint for users to try before purchasing. If the software is purchased, there is no return policy for opened software unless a problem occurs and can not be corrected by iProof Systems within acceptable time. An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) must be obtained from iProof Systems' Technical Support Department enabling you to return the software for a refund. The complete package must be returned including all validations. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Will PowerRIP increase my printer speed?
Unfortunately, no. PowerRIP actually does more processing than a standard printer driver as it converts your Postscript output into language that the EPSON printer can understand. More ink will be deposited and at 1440 or 2880 dpi, that also takes longer. Many factors contribute to printing speed including the speed of your computer, amount of RAM in your computer, connection type and complexity of your file.

ThermoImpressionTM Film is specially coated polyester
which, instead of being light sensitive like other graphic art films,
is heat sensitive. When our image-setters apply heat to the film,
the reactive layer turns black and creates the image. Since all
the magic is built into the film, our products don't require messy
toners, dyes, inks or transfers. This is the only consumable needed
for the Liberator, TechStyler, TechSetter, and EcoPro product lines
