_ Standard Plastisol Inks
_WM Plastisol standard colors
are all-purpose Plastisol inks designed for printing directly on 100%
White substrates or for over-printing onto flashed white. They have
great Build-up resistant, a wide standard color range and are excellent
for automatic and manual printing.
PRINTING RECOMMENDATIONS:
Substrates: Lights and Dark 100% cotton
Mesh count: 86-125ct, for higher detail: 125-230ct
Squeegee: 70d-75d Medium Durometer
CURING TEMPERATURE:
Gel or Flash-cure: 230°F - Full Cure: 320°F
Curing tests should be made prior to any production run. Failure to cure properly causes poor wash fastness, inferior adhesion and increased dye migration.
MODIFIERS AND EXTENDERS:
Our Plastisol inks should be stirred first to determine if modification is necessary. 3001FF Soft Hand Clear Base or 3000FF Curable Reducer can be added to extend and soften hand. Refer to Bases and Additives Technical sheets for additional information.
* Additions greater than 20% (by weight) will affect opacity/coverage.

MODIFIERS AND EXTENDERS:
High Opaque/ Low Bleed Plastisol inks should be stirred first to determine if modification is necessary. Addition of Soft Hand Clear Base is not recommended since it could undermine the Bleed-resistance of the inks. However, addition of 1-3% (by weight) of 3000FF Curable Reducer can be added to adjust viscosity or to soften the hand.

Pantone Approved - Color Matching System
WM - PIMs (Plastisol Ink Matching System)

Pantone Color Mixing
Plastisol Ink Mixing System is the next generation of inks for mixing colors. With the introduction of Gold color, the matching of the Pantone yellows are made simple. The PIM system contains 10 primary High Opacity colors and uses only 6 Fluorescent. All colors have wet on wet properties. Recipe book is available for creating shades. With the uses of enhancer additives special effects become simple. Whether matching Pantone or a buyer’s special color, this system will make matching simple. PIM System will reduce overall cost. The easy of printing will increase production speeds.
Application and Substrate: Mixing colors can be printed directly on cotton, cotton/polyester or polyester fabrics.
When printing on a bleeding fabric use color with a low bleed white underlay.
When printing on nylon fabric use Long Life Bonding Agent (add 10 to 15% by weight).
Stencil: Direct, Indirect or Capillary Films
Recommended Mesh: 86ct - 305ct (34t - 120t t/cm)
Modifiers/Additives:
Wash up: Mineral spirit, Press Wash or Ink Wash.
Fusion or Curing: 320 F/160 C for 1 to 1 ½ minutes. If running a higher oven temperature, the dwell time in the oven can be reduced. Fusing Machines or Heat Presses use 190 C/390 F for 8 seconds. Printers must check for curing of the inks on their fabrics.
Special notes: PVC inks are thermoplastic compounds that require heat for fusion or curing. If ink rubs off on a white cloth, temperature and or dwell time should be increase. Rubs should not be hard. Plastisol inks do not wet crock. Do not dry clean. Always check fabric for Migrating dyes.
