Inkjet / Laser Film Positives & Printers
Double-Sided Laser Film

Laser Film
Compatible with Laser and Offset printers
Our Laser Film is a polyester-based, daylight-working, zero process, dry-to-dry film for making screen printing positives (or negatives) using a desktop computer and laser printer. The UV density of the image is comparable with silver-sensitized graphic arts films and perfectly suited for exposing pre-sensitized positive and negative screen.
Highlights:
Uniform Toner Transfer providing high image density for direct exposure.
In-line stabilized to provide superior dimensional and heat stability for good registration.
High toner adhesion and UV resistant image at lower levels of toner consumption.

Waterproof Inkjet Film

Waterproof Inkjet Film
Compatible with Dye & Pigment-based inks
Waterproof (wp) Inkjet Film is a high density polyester-based clear film coated on one side with a micro porous, Ink receptive coating. The capillary action micro porous coating absorbs the dye or pigment based inks and traps them instantly which provide fast drying. The coating is water resistant to prevent smearing under high humidity conditions.
Highlights:
Micro porous Coating Technology for Density, Dot Control and Water Proofing.
Water resistant coating prevents smearing under high humidity conditions.
The most important factor determining the image quality when making screen printing positives with inkjet printer is the coating on the film, and iFilm (wp)’s coating is best in the market and works extremely well with the of- theshelf pigment or dye inks. The special micro porous coating on the 4mil clear polyester is best suited for fine lines and half tones alike. iFilm (wp) is specifically engineered for the creation of super quality film positives and negatives. When high density is necessary, iFilm(wp) is the ultimate choice.

Clear Inkjet Film (Non-Waterproof)

Inkjet Non-Waterproof Film
Compatible with Dye based inks
Clear Inkjet Film is a high density polyester-based clear film for computer-to-film digital imaging using recommended inkjet printers. It is ideal for pleasing full-color & screen positives in any size, with unbeatable value for-money. Clear Inkjet Film is designed to produce high-resolution four-color ready positives with UV density matching silver-based films. Clear Inkjet Film can also be used for generating negatives. (However, the ink consumption is significantly higher than that for making positives.)
Highlights:
When imaged on high-resolution pigment-based inkjet printers (e.g. Epson Stylus Pro x880/x450 series), the patented ink-receiving layer ensures excellent reproduction of 2 - 98% dots at 2880 dpi, micro-fine lines and perfect solids. Clear Inkjet Film offers the lowest cost computer-to-film solution, ideally suited for screen printers or spot color offset printers and several other applications currently using expensive silver-based films. (Note : It takes a little while to dry the Pigment Based ink on this film)

T-Rip Software for Epson Printers
T-RIP™ is a software RIP (raster image processor) designed specifically to work in Adobe Photoshop and output film to an Epson 1400 printer. It will also work in Corel Draw version x3, x4 and x5 by January 10, 2011 (FREE upgrade). Without a RIP an inkjet printer will not print halftone dots and will not lay down enough ink for a solid/dense film positive for screen burning. This is especially important when trying to burn small halftone dots.
T-RIP gives complete control over the halftone frequency/line count, dot angle, dot shape, and more. Print a normal grayscale image from Photoshop or from Channel separations made with T-Seps or any other automated color separation program. T-RIP includes registration targets, film labels, and has settings for a variety of output resolutions and ink deposits. If you want DENSE black films with great looking halftone dots, this is it!
With T-RIP and an Epson 1400 you can have a high quality film output system for under $600!
